Book Red LightWhat Is Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy (RLT) uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to penetrate the skin and interact with cells at a mitochondrial level. This process is designed to support the body's natural energy production and recovery mechanisms.
Sessions are non-invasive, painless, and require no recovery time. Most clients find sessions relaxing — simply stand or lie near the light panel while the wavelengths do their work.
How It Works
Red and near-infrared wavelengths (typically 630–850nm) are absorbed by mitochondria in your cells. This absorption is thought to stimulate ATP (cellular energy) production, reduce oxidative stress, and support the body's natural repair processes.
Red Light (630–660nm)
Primarily supports skin health, collagen production, and surface-level tissue repair.
Near-Infrared (810–850nm)
Penetrates deeper into muscle, joint, and connective tissue to support recovery and inflammation response.
How Red Light Therapy May Support Your Body
Skin Health
May support collagen production, skin tone, and surface-level tissue health through targeted red wavelengths.
Cellular Energy
Designed to stimulate mitochondrial ATP production — the fuel your cells use for repair and function.
Inflammation Support
Near-infrared wavelengths penetrate deep tissue to support the body's natural inflammatory response.
Recovery
Supports faster recovery from physical activity, training, and muscle fatigue.
Pain Support
Many clients report reduced discomfort following sessions, particularly in muscles and joints.
Wound-Healing Support
May support the body's natural tissue repair processes at both surface and deeper levels.
Red Light Therapy is intended to support wellness and recovery. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment from a licensed healthcare professional.
